Excel, London 27th February to 1st March

It’s well worth a trip to Docklands to see the hottest developments in AoIP from Jünger Audio, DirectOut and Bel Digital Audio. Read on to discover what else is new on stand F30.

If you’d like to book a demonstration of any of the products on the stand please email touch@aspen-media.com with your preferred date and time.

Manfred, Man from Jünger

We are delighted to welcome for the first time to our stand, Manfred Ottenbreit, International Sales and Support at Jünger Audio. He’s looking forward to showing you what’s new from Berlin and here’s a taster.

Netbridge UHD is a powerful 19″, 1U audio format converter that provides fast integration of 4K-UHD or four HD video streams into MADI and AoIP infrastructures.

Netbridge MADI is fully bidirectional and can simultaneously convert 128 channels between MADI and Dante.

JLCooper Easy LoudnessEasy Loudness gives you easy and automatic loudness management using Jünger’s Level Magic algorithm. As you would expect, it’s compliant with international loudness standards and comes with either a 3G/HD/SD SDI or AES67/Dante interface.

Both Netbridge and Easy Loudness are configured and operated via a standard web browser and are compatible with Ember+ control protocol.

MMA allows broadcasters to author and monitor even the trickiest of mixes in immersive audio live production giving the listener the ultimate earful.

DirectOut Adds Dante and SoundGrid

EXBOX.MD is a compact, bidirectional Dante to MADI interface that can convert 64 audio channels from Dante AoIP to MADI and vice versa. It also supports AES67 and is easily configured using Dante Controller. It has two primary and two secondary RJ45 network switches that allow you to use Dante’s redundancy mode. This can be a lifesaver when using backing tracks.
SoundGrid from Waves is a layer 2-based protocol used primarily in large-scale live sound environments. DirectOut’s SG.MADI provides a bidirectional interface for up to 128 audio channels between MADI streams and a SoundGrid system.
The full range of DirectOut MADI devices will be on show, including the renowned M.1k2 MADI router and lucky you (and us) we’ve got Jan Ehrlich, DirectOut CEO/Sales, on hand to give you the lowdown.
Psssst, don’t tell anyone but DirectOut is so confident in the reliability of its products that it has increased the warranty across the range from 2 years to 3. Effective for products purchased from January 2018.

Bel Updates Confidence Monitor

Our friends from Bel (Digital Audio) are joining us on the stand this year and will be showing their Dante and AES67 Confidence Monitor BM-A1-64DANTE www.beldigital.com. This unit has been updated to be Dante Domain Manager (DDM) ready. DDM offers a far greater degree of control, security, scalability and monitoring and means that the BM-A1-64DANTE can be fully integrated into DDM systems monitoring Dante sources across subnets and WANs.
Bel will also show the BM-AV2-16SHD , a 16 channel audio and video monitoring unit with SDI de-embedding and BM-A1-16SHD, a 16 channel audio monitoring unit also with SDI
de-embedding. These units are perfect in broadcast control rooms or OB vehicles where SDI is the norm and space is at a premium.
