The Digital Solutions BVE02 is an ESAM control interface that integrates the functions of a Yamaha digital audio mixer with the operation of a video edit controller in an Edit Suite.
The BVE02 simplifies and speeds the audio mixing process, handling automatic selection of the audio channels associated with a video source, setting of the audio level for each channel and the cross-fade transitions in and out of each edit.
The more complex operational or monitoring requirements for audio in an edit suite such as pre-read edits or monitor channel mutes are all handled with ease.
In this role the BVE02 has proved itself highly effective in linear edit suites in the UK, Europe and the US; and more recently mixed linear/non-linear installations where a linear style edit controller manages disk based “VTR”s and servers.
