The m904 is therefore equally well equipped for controlling the monitoring in the studio, mastering suite, cutting or tracklaying room and home or project studio; or as the controller within an audiophile home hifi system.
The 904 is equipped with 3 analogue inputs (2 balanced and 1 unbalanced) and five digital inputs (AES3 x 2, SPDif Coax, SPDif Toslink and ADAT/SPDif Toslink) and will drive up to three sets of stereo speakers.
The m904 is available as 2u rackmount unit with a desktop remote and headphone output or with the control integrated to the rackmount unit.
The m904 features comprehensive monitoring control with source selection, speaker system selection with mono, dim and mute.
The digital inputs feature Grace Design's S-Lock interface that reduces the impact of jitter on the incoming digital connections with a corresponding improvement in sonic quality.
The 904 also incorporates Grace Design's highly regarded transimpedance headphone amplifiers, delivering the same sonic quality to refefence headphones.
The Cal mode provides comprehensive configuration control allowing trimming of all input and output levels, ensuring consistent monitoring levels whichever combination of source and speaker is being listened to. A crucial factor when evaluation and comparing different sources or speakers.
